I posted an EQ trigger update the other day. Took it apart, stoned the sear smooth, reassembled, shortened the 1st stage travel, got it breaking reliably at 15oz (but raised it to 1lb 4oz as it was too light for me). Breaking cleanly. No, not an Anschutz-grade trigger but I'm happy with it. The matching sear surface on the hammer bar needs stoning too but it looks like a PITA to get out. If I do that, I think I could get it down to ~10oz. Again, not a fine match-grade trigger system.I’m having the same problems, I have the 22. The first stage travel of the trigger is .577 measured from bottom of trigger.
Try to lessen it and it won’t fire. Try to lessen the pull weight and it won’t cock. Just got a trigger gauge off the classifieds
and the average of 10 shots is 2lbs 11.7 oz. Not good and I swear it doesn’t get better with the two adjustments .

Granted, It is certainly one of the most fiddly trigger systems I've ever worked with. I have some ideas on how to fix that...
I'm jealous!Thanks trap,
im getting to not hate the gun and will get to the trigger again.
I hope I don’t bring more suffering down on myself but just bought the
