.25 JSB testing in the wind

Today was one of those days when it almost seems liked wasting pellets due to the winds. However, I saw my stack of TP targets and thought what the heck. I tested the BC on each of these pellets recently and figured this would be a more practical test. I decided to go around each target twice in some really "variable" conditions. (The weather map showed 13-15 mph winds but they were anything but steady.) I took one shot at each TP and went around a second time. I was adjusted the best I could for the changing wind.

Here's how they came out. The distance was 65 yards shooting my .25 cricket. Not surprising, the heavier MKII pellets performed better. I would estimate that the winds were actually worse during the MKII shots than during the shots I took with the 25.4 JSBs.

For reference here is my sight-in target. it isn't pretty but check out the top-right. The wind did die down and I cranked off 4 or 5 shots as quick as I could. Each shot literally fell into the hole made by the previous pellet. You all know how fun it is to see this!
