.25 JSB King Heavy VS .25 JSB King Heavy MKII

On three different days over the last week, I shot one 10 shot group each of the .25 JSB King Heavy and King Heavy MKII pellets, in an attempt to ascertain whether one performs better than the other, in my Air Arms S510. The wind and temperature conditions were significantly different over the three days, with the first day (top) having almost no wind, the second day and third day having about a 10 mph cross wind from the left, with a few light gusts beyond that.

I hand weighed a sufficient number of pellets from both tins, to a weight range of 33.90 to 34.00. The results are shown in the photo below. I don't know what the actual difference is in the pellets, but if this brief exercise was a true indicator, my rifle certainly favors the MKII pellets.

I have an S510 and i was able to get 2 inch groups at 100 yards with 16 grain pellets on high power. (Best shooting i've ever done). Haven't shot it in awhile, especially on high power. I use to shoot on Mid power 90% of the time. And 25-50 yards was the typical range. But i've moved on from that to the Cricket, then to a Vulcan tactic, now the impact. Sad to say I don't think i've ever had a better group at that range with another gun.
