After you posted those 200 yard groups with H&N’s, I figured you’d be stocking up on those. Did your gun go off its meds?

Hopefully summer of 2023. There have been changes and delays so I’m not sure if that will still happen but that was the proposed timeline.

Oh absolutely I already have lol. Still shooting great. Just curious because I wanted to try some.
Went prairie dog hunting during a warm period with h&n 40gr and was hitting them out to 175 yards consistently. Further than that it took multiple shots to get on target. I hit one way out around 300 yards. Can’t officially confirm that range but the closet patch of weeds I could range was 326 and he was in front of that slightly. I had to dial and then on top of that holdover 12 moa to get them out that far. I was also kinda guessing because I didn’t have strelock setup that far out. Took 4 shots to walk in the slugs and the fifth rolled him over. Like he didn’t move so it was ethical. Blew my buddies mind that an air rifle was doing that lol.

Good to hear. That’s kind of where I’m at but only out to around 140 or so. After that, no amount of calculations puts me dead on. The gun hits the same spot every time but I have to walk them in. It’s probably just another untold truth about shooting far with an airgun.
