.25 Ghost - Foghorn

This is the .25 Ghost tuned by Derrick Wall @zx10wall and described in this recent AGN PCP post

A tale of 3 Ghosts

Took it out today to zero the gun. Installed an Athlon Midas BTR gen2 4.5-27x scope, STO Pugio moderator, Hogue rubber grip, and Saber Tactical ARCA-pic rail extension
Shot .25 Heavy Mk1 and Mk2 at various speeds but with the swirling winds it’s hard to decide at 100 yards which pellet at what speed is best. Settled initially on Mk1 at about 930 fps. Mk2 was about he same at 940 fps. Funny enough, the Mk1 also shot really well at right around 900 fps. We’ll see over the next couple of months.

Too funny! I’ve been tuning my 25 m3 started at 930 but better at 900. What are the chances? 900 by the by is giving me 3/4” groups @ 100 if i do my part. Oh thats with mk1
Interesting. 3/4 inch is super impressive, I only wish, but where I shoot it’s never calm or consistent, so when I get 5 inside an inch I’m thrilled. 😉

It was pretty calm. Just a bit of breeze every now and again. Just thought it odd we chose the same start and end points. Waiting to here more on how you get along with foghorn!

Looks nice!

Does this have the same barrel as the .25 DW?

And what’s the difference between the MK1 and MK2? I notice most people shooting the MK1 .25 which is opposite of the .22 where most like the MK2.
I think they are the same barrel as DW

King Heavy (Mk1) have skirt diameter 6.68mm and Mk2 6.62mm. Head sizes are the same. On SOME Mk1 the rear cavity is deeper, but that varies with JSB on the phase of the moon when made…. 🤪

Sorry for the off topic. @Centercut or anyone else.....what about the FX 33.95 variants? Anyone know which one they more closely resemble? (Mk1 or Mk2)
