That's your neighbors to your east state bird. I know a of bird hunters ( quail) hate them because they prey on young birds and shoot them on the spot. There pretty cool to watch though. Personally have never blasted one though. Yet...

I thought it might have been a road runner. Thanks for clearing that up.. I'm not into hunting or killing animals unless

1. They pose a threat of attacking or disease
2. They are just begging to be shot.
3. They are pooping all over the house

   The roadrunner fell into category 2.

T4fun, that is classic... If I had video running while shooting you would see a bunch of that. The birds around here are paying attention to my target shooting. They don't mind being in the way LOL!!
