Hi guys has anyone tried 2t cal polymag shorts in a fx impact in 25 cal? And will the shorts fit the mag? Accurate??

I have a .25, I have not tried any polymag's yet but I have measured what I believe to be the max length that will rotate and feed properly in the .25 magazine, which is .365"
If you can get a measurement from someone who has some poly's and an inch dial caliper you should have your answer. I have one for you, have you tried anything other than Diablo style pellets in your smooth twist barrel? I have ordered some 36 gr. swagged hollow points and heard afterwards that they don't work so well in smooth twist. I haven't received them yet so just looking for other who might have tried them.

The fx magazines are very short and wont accept barracuda match or superdomes in 25 cal..big design screw up by fx.
I will have the inside of the magazine lid milled out so it accepts the barras,which are excellent im smooth twist barrels.
Ive tried h+n grizzly,perfectly clean barrel, shoots like a shotgun, shoot them from a barrel fouled with barras,first three shots went in same hole,and then groups opened up again
Im gonna rebarrel with a lothar to try the grizzlys ,if you could get them to shoot they would be a great hunting pellet,keep us informed on how you get on with the slugs

Will do Scirroco, I am interested in where you get a Lothar that will fit the Impact? That may be something I will want to try in the future.

Hi will pick some lothar barrels up when.im in germany boar shooting,which is normally every month,
Just a little.machining required to fit them.
