I’m shooting a .25 cal FX impact MKll 700mm. Can anyone give me an educated opinion on what would be the ideal velocity for .25 cal 33.5 gr. Nielsen slugs?

They shoot well out of my MK1 gen2 Impact 700mm slug barrel at about the high teens to mid 920fps, 940fps and I think it was 960or 980fps as well. The 36.2 and 38.5 slugs shoot very well also. Funny thing is the 33.5s were MOA at 100 yards shooting at only 740fps too! Oh, and low 900s is best for BC.

I have some 33.5 and 29.5 on it’s way from krale. Planning to use in 700mm slug liner mk2 with polish plenum . Hard to find any tests with this combination. What nsa slug to people recommend for 25 cal ?

after loads of testing i tryed them today and had 50yrds and 100yrds same hole did get odd flyer though maybe 1 out of 5 , shooting from impact mkii power plenum 140reg max on 965 but shooting off hammer 4 which was 935 .

Oddly enough the two best shooting NSA slugs out of my .25 MK2/PP/700 are the 29.5 and the 38.5. Still experimenting so long as the air supply lasts.
