25 cal hatsan hercules bully? mixed reviews please help

I am very interested in the 25 cal hatsan hercules bully. i am looking for the most powerful 25 cal out of the box.

but - it seems like it gets very mixed reviews. some say its great. others say its terrible and they received complete lemons

are there any hercules bully owners that could comment or others who have opinions about this air rifle ?

i don't want to throw ~$800 - $900 down the drain

If you are looking for a very powerful .25 out of the box, try the Huben .25. Will get upwards of 100fpe. It's more than the Hatsan, but if the price ($1,899) is doable for you, I don't think one can find a more powerful .25 out of the box.

Some of the Hatsan Bullies have built in accuracy problems to deal with and are rather heavy.I have an older model in .45 and it is hard to cock. I saw some where that Hatsan has improved the cocking difficulty. I think I would look at the Seneca Eagle Claw in .25. The reviews on it are good and it is a powerful shooter.
