I was able to finish this rifle's annual check-up yesterday. Wow, was I surprised at the accuracy achieved at the 81 yard mark.
Previously, I tested this rifle with several different .25 cal pellets, finding that it seems to prefer the AA 25.4 pellet. The barrel was relatively clean, and as it hasn't been that long since I acquired this rifle from another AGN member and went through the set-up, so little else was needed other than to check stock and scope screws for the proper tension and then see how it performed on paper.
I like everything about this rifle, except the only 8 round magazines. However, they are so easy to change and the spares are readily acceptable in the stock, I don't find this to be a big deal.
The results can be seen below. Extremely impressive. This would be one of my "go to" choices for the perfect woods rifle.
