looking at getting a .25 pcp. I love my disco but looking for a bit more. I have it down to 3 and was hopeful I could get some great insight. It's between an mrod or a hatsan 44 or the bt65. Help!!
IMHO there is no reason to get a Hatsan 44 over the M-Rod. I have a M-Rod in .25 and LOVE it! The bt65 on the other hand has more power than the other two so if you're looking for more knockdown power or longer range well I have to bow to the bt65.
Let me tell you though... The M-Rod is a SERIOUS weapon. You can hear it smack a ground squirrel at 90 yds! Rabbits and crows just drop dead with heart/lung shots. The crazy zombie squirrels sometime run a ways but they are TOUGH little buggers. I have never had a pellet remain in a squirrel I've hit. They all pass through even some diagonal front shot have passed through 4" of squirrel.
