25 cal baracuda accuracy

So my kral jumbo 25 I had these pellets going right around 800 fps and they were giving me dime sized groups out to 75 yards. I added a dual hammer spring and that brought the fps up to 890 on average. Love the 55 fpe, but the pellets aren't grouping well now. I figured they'd stay accurate under 900s but I couldn't believe the POI change.

Anyone else on here use these pellets at higher velocities with no issues?

Side note, the NSA 33.6 grain slug is now grouping tighter so maybe I'll just have this as my slug gun. It's my only rifle length gun now so I figure get as much power as I can out of it.

For what it is worth, I have a 50FPE Daystate air ranger with Huggett barrel and LDC that loves the Kodiak pellet. I cannot group any slugs for the life of me in this gun. Twist rate must be too slow. I do not remember the chrony #'s.
I also have a 50FPE Daystate Air Ranger Tactical with air stripper that absolutely loves the NSA 33.6 with the standard LW barrel. I'd stick with they NSAs, as they are superior to a pellet in every way.

I have some time today and it'll be almost 60 outside so I might try turning it down to where they'll group again. I wouldn't have thought 890 fps would cause so much POI change. They are pretty heavy pellets and I figured they'd stay accurate. Must be the design of the waist and pointed dome giving me turbulence.

I had a 45 fpe 25 that was a laser with those pellets but it was a heavy bullpup so I moved it off. Too bad because they are a devastating pellet on game. Wish this rifle liked them. I have one tin left and will try them today at the higher velocity to see if they tightened up. So far it's looking like the NSA 33.6 is its new favorite.

the 30.86gr baracuda's shoot well at over 1000fps from all the guns i.ve had.
good hunting pellets !!
Just went out and shot some groups with them and they're still getting dimes at 40 yards. Dunno what happened after the tune, I didn't change anything but add a spring. My POI went high and right but it's dialed in now. The rifle is an air hog now, I lost about 15 shots in its curve for the extra 10 fpe but that's a trade off I'm willing to accept. It's going to be solely for hunting I have others for plinking and a compressor and 3L bottle to fill from. It's supposed to be a 500cc bottle but it's smaller than my other 500cc bottle so I'm guessing somewhere in the 475cc range. 280 bar is where I fill to, but its rated for 300. Might fill it full and see what shot count and numbers I get.

It's definitely grouping the NSA slugs very well now so after the cudas are gone I will just switch over to those 33.6 slugs and be done with it. Just gotta stretch it out to 100 yards now.

I ran a full string from 300 bar and o ly got 28 shots before the spread was over 20 fps. It started at its highest point and stayed in the 890s till about 18th shot. Wasting air or needs even higher pressure and I'm not going past 300 bar.

Turned the hammer spring out 2 turns and it's still in the 880s for 40 shots. Much quieter now, and I'm thinking the erratic POI was the extra muzzle blast behind the pellet after exiting the barrel. Might drop it down to 850s with these and probably end up with 60 shots in the curve. That's still touching 50 fpe with a better shot cycle and I'm sure the accuracy would be better.

I sure wish H&N made these in like a 48g 30 cal. I contacted them a couple of years ago to ask if they ever would make them in a 30 and they said no
