Finally Had time to shoot both my Taipans at 50 yards. Got them both dialed in and ready to go.
Here is a pic of my target. I put lots of notes on it.
Everything circled in blue is. 25 Taipan Vet Long shooting 34.9 gr NSA. I ordered a bunch of samples and these by far shot the best. All 3 shot groups. Speed ranging from 950fps down to 909fps. Think I may have found the magic at 905-910fps with those NSA 34.9gr. 3 shots in 1 hole at 50 yards with slugs, is the best slugs have performed for me out of any gun.
Also, shot pellets way beyond the speed for best accuracy and then brought the fps down to show how group size shrinks when pellets are flying in their happy place. All groups with pellets are 5 shots or more. There was inconsistent wind blowing from right to left the entire time.
