.249 or .250 lightweight slugs for stock Vulcan?

I'm looking at the 29-34 grain slugs just to lob in the dirt. Maybe try groups but I have lots of pellets for good group out to 100.

I don't care about low power for this application. Just wondering what factory barrels have shown owners that they prefer OD wise.

I would think I should go with 29-34 .249's.

Try lubed 32.8 varmint knockers with the big 2s nose in .250. If you can get them 850+ fps out the gate you should be fine. Devastating on game. All guns are different but my go to slug in my Vulcan tatic .25.

From what I understand (I used a borrowed Vulcan .25 for a couple weeks) it'll be an exercise in frustration. Was told by the current & past owners it won't do slugs.
