FX 22cal FX Crown help needed

Hello.
I currently have 30 cal FX Crown mk2, 600mm.
I want to shoot slugs and this gun just don't have power for 30 cal slugs.
I am thinking to switch to 22 caliber slugs.

Question. Will it do fine with 500mm heavy 22 cal liner or I need 600mm?

If you have a 22 cal crown shooting slugs, can you please share what is the largest slug that fits the magazine, your reg pressure and FPS.

thank you

My crown mkll has a 700mm standard superior liner. Stock hammer and spring. Reg set at 125, power wheel max, transfer port high. I only shoot .217, 25.39 knockouts and it shoots them at 915 fps. I've never had the opportunity to shoot this gun at 100 yards but my farthest wood pile is 67 yd and it will shoot 3/8" groups most days. I don't really shoot groups very often I have a problem with timber tigers here and I can tell you at 67 it's a between the ear and eye kind of gun. I sold a wildcat Mark 3 when I bought this crown and I kept the liner from the wildcat to put i the crown. It's got juju. I hope you can get that lucky

I agree 700 is too long for Crown. I think 25 might be better than 22. With pellets, I don't notice much change using the TP on "HIGH". I'm using 120 bar 18.1 g pellets 880fps HS 10 with 500mm barrel. I just got some small slugs 20.5g to try. I would be willing to let you try my 380mm 22 barrel if you want. It's a light barrel though with a carbon sleeve over it and the shroud but no moderator with it. You'd need a probe too. I need to make a few more replies so I can make contact with someone in the classifieds. This gets me up to 5 since I joined in 2022. LOL

well, I have M3 30cal I shoot allot, since I got M3 I kind of gave up on Crown, but recently I figured why not build a long range 22 gun, nice project, not hunting much, just birds and squirrels, paper targets most of the time, but I want to do this project just to play around with it and see how it does.
My 30 cal crown currently 600mm, 150BAR reg, heavy hammer capable of shooting 50gn pellets at 930, I figured 22 cal should go allot faster
