2240 safepac bottle build complete

Finally finished, we'll sort of. Still waiting on the 250cc 4500 psi bottle, but the 425cc is looking nice on there.

Carbine stock showed up from AlchemyAir today(thanks David!), and I tossed it on to get some groups before dark. Stacking FTT 5.53s at 25 yards with just the 4x32AO scope. Will get some 40 yarders in the morning.

Had an extra kral mega synthetic stock laying her, so I cut up the stocks and added the cheek riser to the crosman stock to get me a better weld. May cut down the length of pull too, then I'm molding it all together and will be done.

Balances better with the added weight to the stock, and its a neat little plinker and running 13 fpe should be a good back yard blaster.

Well I immediately realized this 4x32 scope ain't cutting it past 25 yards so I swapped on one of my westhunter 4-16x44 30mm scopes. I CAN SEE!!!

The 250cc bottle should be here today but we'll see on that. That should bring the forward weight down a bit and bring the muzzle past the bottle a few inches. Should get more shots even though it's a smaller bottle, that extra 1500 psi fill pressure will equate to alot of shots.

Ran some groups at 40 yards. I'm so used to higher power that even a 5 mph breeze was tossing these FTTs around a bit. I can actually watch them arc thru the air down to the target!

First group of 5 with the wind pushed pellets. Top target, bottom was for zeroing and see where i was after I pushed back from 20.

The 5 shot group to the left was no wind. Shouldn't have an issue hunting with this to 40. The top flyer was a bent skirt, didn't think it would be off that much.

What's nice about this platform is I can swap to my 14.5" barrel, or longer, to gain more power and the shroud and 1/2-20 adapter inside can just slide forward and have set screws on them. Then the shroud has a threaded baffle insert from a Trail NP, so just move the rear set bushing up, lock it down, screw mod on tight.
