Are their different head sizes in .22 pellets ? when i see .177 pellets some are offered in 4.49 , 4.50 . 4.51 4.52 . maybe i just have not looked enough ?

Yes, H&N in particular lists their different head sizes.

Jsb and H&N do different head sizes in .22.
Best option is to look at the manufacturer website.

Its nice to know yoy can find that on simr brands cause i my experience a .22 tends to be looser leade / loose fit / seating pellets then i see in any .177 ive had or got .. especially diana / rws are big looser leades for there guns . ( Opinion)

Yes, Jeff @ Trenier carries JSB .22 on n different head sizes. Call him if you need different head sizes to try.

I will say the head sizes on tins are more of a trend rather than a statistical fact. Especially with JSB.
