.22 Slug shootout... VKs, FX, NSAs

Just for fun: Did some .22 cal accuracy testing @ 50 yards. Edgun R5M tuned to shoot a 22.5 gr slug at 940 fps. This is a LW match barrel, with a choke, 476mm

Groups measured center to center. 

Top groups, LEFT to RIGHT: 

-VK 22.5gr DB-HP 5 shots: group 3/4 inch (1 flyer...4 into 1/4inch)

-FX hybrids 5 shots : 1/2 inch group. 

-NSA 20.2gr DB-HP : 3/4 inch (1 flyer...4 into 3/8 inch)

Middle Groups, LEFT to RIGHT:

-VK 22.5gr DB-HP 5 shots: 1 inch group

-FX Hybrids, 10 shots : 1/2 inch group (2nd best group)

-VK 22.5gr FB-HP 10 shots: 1/4 inch group (best group)

Bottom, right to left:

-VK 22.5 DB-HP 10 shots : 7/8 inch group

-NSA 20.2gr 5 shots: 3/4 inch group

-.25 Polymags 5 shots, out of Leshiy.

Looks like the LW choked barrel does OK.

I think either your reading your groups wrong or the photo inverted the target.... or I don't know my right from my left which could also be the case. lol

Those three best are very good. Hope they pan out at 100yds.

Ha!! Yes I did. That's the radiologist in me. Right is left and Left is right.
