.22 Raw HM1000X Accuracy Tune for 25.39 & 18.13 pellets

Well, I do have one in .22 and each gun/barrel is different so you'll just need a baseline to go by. I have mine de-tuned to shoot 18gr @ 950fps and mine is dead nuts accurate at this speed, have taken ground squirrels out to over 100yds . The same will go for the 25gr, about 950fps. Mine also likes NSA 17.5gr .2175 slugs on same tune traveling 935fps. Congratulations acquiring your RAW! I shoot the 18gr as they're so much more affordable to shoot for me.

Thanks for the reply. Is your reg.pressure the same for both? Where is it set?
Thanks again
My reg is set the same for both....I keep it the same while shooting both pellets and slugs which is 140 bar. I wanted a tune to be able to shoot both 18gr pellets and 17.5gr slugs close to the same speeds. Lighter ammo in pellets and slugs is cheaper to shoot! LOL!

I had Martin build me another regulator and HS to dedicate to shooting 18 grain pellets. He tuned them to shoot at 920 and that is where they arrived shooting. I have tried every speed between 850-950 and for the life of me I can’t get the 18s to shoot anywhere close to the same accuracy as the 25.4 MRDs. I have come to the conclusion that these new unchoked poly barrels don’t like 18s for some reason. Perhaps I am way off base but that’s been my experience.

Just for the sake of conversation, at 925fps, my RAW shoots the 25.39 RD's like a laser. Here is the kicker...a the 925 FPS, for the 25's. it is 1050 for the 18.13's which shoot like a laser. Martin told me to tune the gun down to 950ish to shoot the 18's, but I am inclined to leave it as is. To get the 18's down, I will have to reduce the reg. setting which is now at 140. Will also need to adjust the hammer spring setting.Hadn't had a chance yet to re-set the reg to the point of getting fps down to 950 to see how it affects the accuracy. Would like to get the fps down to 35 ft lbs to shoot in open class instead of un-limited... over 35 ft lbs. But have My Crown which makes the cut with the 18's and is also super accurate at 50 myds. and beyond.

H'mm....I tried all kinds of speeds from 880-1050 with 18gr and were accurate at all those speeds but even better past 920 for mine and I settled @ 950 because at that speed it shoots NSA 17.5gr very well. Have you had your barrel polished? That might help. But, I'm glad it shoots the 25gr for you.

Haven't polished it, but seems to shoot better after a good cleaning. Learned one thing though the gun shoots better held firmly. If not, will throw what i thought initially were fliers. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
You're welcome! Just like you, my barrel is a hair more accurate after a cleaning but even better after it was polished and after the polish, more shots before another cleaning.
