.22 FX Impact at 400 yards with slugs

My Impact has been really impressing me lately with the 28 grain slugs doing 950 fps. 

I shot these 3-4" balloons at just over 400 yards this morning just as the morning thermals kicked in. I can shoot it a little better without the phone on the scope because you cant shoulder it properly with it on but it still does pretty good.

It's a Mueller 8-32×44. It was probably on 28-30 power.

Nice shooting, that's some pretty good hang time lol. So far my Impact really likes the 20.2gr 218's. It's also showed preference for the 24.8's also but I think I need to shoot them a little faster. I'll have a PP before to long so I can crack it up and retry the 24.8's.

That’s definitely awesome, could you hear the impacts?

Yes, you can hear them pop the water pretty loud. It's real loud when it's right in front of a rock. The video seams to kill the sound off before it picks it's up again. It's funny to shoot at rocks poking out of the water because then all you hear is the wiz of a ricochet with no splash when you hit. Almost like a dry fire and totally backwards from the norm.

Amazing!!!! Here too, in Italy, the FX Impact with plenum is going strong for the long range, but I had never seen 400m shots. Congratulations to you and the weapon.
