.22 FX Compact Squirrel Hunt

Been working 6-7 days a week for months now. Finally got a few days off, went squirrel hunting. Got several, here are a few. Loving the FX Compact and the little MTC Atom. I bought a Uragan, .25 a few months back, but not sure I want to carry that heavy thing, especially after seeing how well this little beast does. Just so natural to shoot. Got it cranked at 900 fps with hades 15.9. Was hunting some very steep terrain. Happy Hunting.

Where'd you even manage to find an atom? I wanted to get one, but could not find a single retailer that sold/had one.



Not sure if you want to make it any lighter, but I use a compact huma mod (hair over 4 oz weight) on my380mm Crown

Awesome! Maybe when I was looking for them, none had been imported yet? It seemed a first run had been sold, and appeared not many sold or much perceived interest was received for them? I'm not 100% sure, but thank you.

Thanks, was great to get out in the woods. I have been hunting squirrels every fall for 50 years. Still love it as much as when I was a kid. The hills sure are getting steeper. LOL

I think this china bottle is only 220 cc, can't remember. 8 pounds 2 oz. the Trident mod, is less than 5 oz . I am going to take it off & put the fx thingys on it, don't like the length with the trident. Too long , kind of contrary to the compact thing i am wanting. plus i would rather not have the bulge on the muzzle, just a personal thing. It is quiet though real quiet. It is a .25 cal & my compact is 22. I had it on one of my .25 and it cost some accuracy, but on this .22 it is hole 4 hole.
