New to tuning and already diving into slugs? Don't let what might happen make you hate your gun. Remember it was sold and purchased as a pellet gun. Do your research on what guys are lubing them with, what speeds they like out of your barrel length and how they got that speed. Did they get them shooting accurately at lets say 920fps with the reg set at 130b, hammer wheel on max and the TP wheel set on .25/.30. Or did they get that magic speed with a 150b reg, hammer wheel on 3 and TP wheel on .177/.22. You can get speed in two ways but finicky slugs might not like one but love the other. You could get lucky but be prepared to shoot a bunch of expensive ammo. If things seem to be moving in the right direction and suddenly go south, clean your barrel. Even lubed slugs can nasty up a barrel rather quickly.
