.22 CZ barrel blank ?

Why? Let me tell you a story about the used RAW I bought. It was a real nice LRT model with a 20 inch barrel. When I got it, it was gorgeous, but when I shot it, it's accuracy was just so-so. I called Martin about it and he told me he custom built this for a customer that sent him a CZ barrel to be used because the customer was so enamored with it. Well, I wasn't, so I bought an LW barrel from Martin and replaced the CZ. After that, It shot as a RAW should. Don't get me wrong, I have a CZ rimfire rifle that is wonderfully accurate, maybe better than my Anschutz rifles, but for airguns? It didn't work this time.

CZ barrels have been top tier for a long time. I've seen some discussion about certain builders moving to other barrels as the CZ barrels become less available to them. They haven't had blanks available to the public for quite a while, at least not new ones. Replacement barrels for the CZ built guns are still around but I'm sure quantities are limited since CZ announced they are exiting airgun manufacturing. The CZ200 and the rebranded AA versions might be 'while supplies last'...(guns and barrels etc).

All barrels work better at one speed/with one pellet vs another combo. I get that the CZ didn't work for you but by the same token, I've thrown away LW barrels that I would have been embarrassed to sell, certainly not all of them though.
