22 Cal Slugs | 23 Grain | Start Production Today

22 cal hitting the High Speed Swage Press Today!

We are starting with 23 grain .217.

These will be 350 slugs per box and we are making them as I type. BC will around .08 and these have a deep hollow point like the 25 cal.

I just ordered some to try, but I am not sure if I can push these heavier slugs fast enough for their optimal accuracy. I will just have to wait and see.

Just some feedback:

I recieved my slugs today, and they look great!

Unfortunately, my setup is against the heavier slug, which I am only able to push to about 840 FPS. This seem to probably be a better fit for the Impactor simular airgun that is capable of making much more power.

Something I has noticed in both my Airforce airgun and my Mrod is that they seem to not like the flat nose slugs as much as the more pointed offerings.

I guess I will have to stick with the lighter slugs. I am also not sure if there is a part of it due to the increased engagement of the slug with the rifleling. 

Gun used was .22cal LW equipped Mrod.

Or do we have to wait another 3months like last time?
