22 Cal Impact factory moderator clipping pellets

I added 3 additional sleeves on the factory moderator on my 22 Impact and I believe the pellets are clipping. I'm changing to a 25 caliber end cap.

Yup, I was right. I removed the end cap and saw where the pellets were clipping.

You might try to rotate your barrel liner and see if it is tensioned properly to see if the problem goes away.

Good advise T3P... I was going to suggest the same thing. When I got my Impact, the shroud/barrel was in need of tightening a few turns.

I was just thinking that double loading might be causing the clipping. I'll verify indexing the barrel and chicking the tightness on the shroud. Replaced the 22 end cap with a 25 end cap.
