As I try out 5.53 and 5.54 diameter pellets in my Marauder, Octane, Stormrider and home rifled Gamo express shotguns, I'm starting to get great groupings all around with 5.53 and 5.54 diameter H&N Field Target Trophy pellets. I think any 22 caliber owners out there should give these larger diameter pellets a try!

I tried some 21 gr 5.55 in my new Edgun R5m yesterday and it shoots them very good. I honestly think I could load gravel in it and it would be accurate.

Right on guys..
I have a Kral Nemesis - configurable in .22 and .25 calibers..
When it was set up with the .22 config, I tried my usual 'dirty barrel accuracy test' using Crosman 14.3 gr Hollow Points..
Even on the lowest power setting, that gun just spit those things all over the place..
The grouping would look worse than if I had used a blunderbuss.. Just way too over powered and too many fps..
From there, I started stepping up the pellet sizes and weights.. The heavier H&N ended up working phonemically!

Absolutely.
For woods-walking with the .22 Marauder, the 14.3 Crosmans suffice.
For serious work, any pellet 5.53mm is better. IMHO

It seems my Marauder is a cheap date in the fact it shoots Crossman 14.3 very well but the H and N FTT 5.53mm shoot great. Indoors at 12 yards it is hard to tell the difference but at 30 yards it shows why we spend more for better pellets.
