22 cal 500mm

Hard to beat pellet accuracy at low 900s! But I'm sure someone on here has found the magic slug to do it.

Any reason your don't want to up your hammer a few clicks (if you aren't already maxed out) and get the 17.5gr or 20.2gr up to mid to upper 900s?
my 17.5 are at 915 now they are accurate jut not as good as the 18 gr but for hunting sure kill them for sure

For me the NSA 24.8 grain .218 lubed with Balistol is right on the heels of the JSB 18.13 grain pellet out to 50 yards. Past 50 yards I believe the slug is taking over the lead; especially if they’re is any wind. That’s with an FX Superior 600mm on a Crown MK2. I’m shooting the 24.8 at 945 fps. A friend with a Dreamline is shooting the same slugs also lubed with Balistol at about 915fps with the same great accuracy.
