I'm playing with a barrel that I'm *thinking* might like this size. In pushing slugs through it - .216's are a little "loose" fitting / feeling and .217's - while not requiring hulk like strength to push through are definitely tighter fitting. I've been trolling NSA's site hoping that the sample packs in .2165 come available ( 24.8's ) but . . . . not yet. They do have full 350 pack boxes of them available but . . . I'd rather not buy a whole box in the event that they don't work. I'm in upstate N.Y. and in all fairness - my testing has been *very* spartan @present - weather has been horrible. I do actually have the .217's going "ok" @present but again - with very little testing and tweaking in. My hope is that the slightly smaller .2165 will tighten up the groups that I'm currently seeing.
Subject is anyone else make them? Part two of that question might also be if anyone else making them, are they as reasonably priced as Nick's??
