More than 300 airgunners descend on Sandon Hall stately home in Staffordshire UK

Airgun enthusiasts from across the country again took part in the July Daystate and BRK Experience – an extravaganza of shooting, workshops and presentations – at the beautiful Sandon Hall and grounds in Staffordshire.

More than 150 shooters each day took advantage of the opportunity to try out the entire BRK/Brocock and Daystate and ranges of rifles on targets out to 120 meters with more than 10,000 pellets shot.

Guidance and advice were on hand from extreme benchrest experts Chris Jensen and World Champion Lauren Parsons who travelled to the event from Arizona, as well as members of the Daystate and BRK Airgunners’ Support Pack (ASP) who provided range support for the 23 rifles on the outdoor ranges.

In addition, The Airgun Extra Show’s Mat Manning and Rich Saunders delivered presentations on ‘Camouflage and Concealment’ and ‘How to get a Shooting Permission’.

For the more technically minded, the Sub 12 Airgunners team was on hand to answer tuning questions, along with the testing and assembly team from BRK and Daystate to explain how the rifles work and how to service them.

Helping to round out the Experience Days were stands from Killgerm Training, specialist tuning and accessory company PRS and the Staffordshire Red Squirrel Initiative whose Red Squirrel Conservation Team were on hand to raise awareness of the threat posed by grey squirrels and advise how to control them.

If all that wasn’t enough, every attendee was presented with a goodie bag with a retail value of £152.00.

Perhaps the happiest attendees were Michael D and Peter E who took home the top raffle prizes of a BRK Ghost SE and Daystate Blackwolf.

“Everyone had a great time. There were plenty of guns to shoot and lots of opportunity to chat to the experts and fellow airgun enthusiasts,” says Tony Belas.

“The 2025 BRK and Daystate and Experience was a resounding success and I would like to pass my congratulations to the 35 Daystate and BRK staff that were involved in organising and putting it on, as well as the 250 visitors who came determined to enjoy themselves. They really made it a wonderful couple of days…It couldn’t have gone better”.

Unofficial word is that they set up a speed shooting course and had the 2025 RMAC Speed winner, Lauren Parsons, set the time to beat. Robert Buchanan (owner of AoA) put up $20 for anyone who could beat her time. No one came within 20 seconds of her time, so Robert kept his friendly wager.
