Comments:
With the forecasted rain coming earlier than expected, we started the match at 9:30 am.
Pop-tents were setup under the practice area and kept the registration and other gear dry when the rain finally.

Bill & Cindy was about to shoot the match, but we had a fellow club member that needed some help sorting out his TX200 rifle. Both Bill & Cindy showed our fellow air gunner how to show shoot accurately his newly purchased spring piston rifle. They also gave him some JSB 8.4 grain pellets to take home and use instead of the H&N 9 grain hollow points. Sometimes it is best to just help out a fellow shooter who gets frustrated when a rifle does not shoot to its potential.

We also had Kim join us. She was one of the 160 women who participated in the RFG Ladies Range Day. She wanted to get into air guns and tried out some of the spring piston air guns Bill & Cindy had. Kim will try out more air guns before purchasing one eventually. After the match, Kim volunteered to cook up some hotdogs for us. We ate our food, snacks and drinks under the tents.

Pete S had a scope side wheel failure and had to stop shooting after 10 lanes. Hope Falcon can fix the side parallax knob.

Bob C who lives in Florida but works in CT joined us under forecasted rainy conditions. He borrowed Pete's Marauder. We appreciated Bob joining us in the match. Bob plans on attending other clubs in the New England area and maybe one of our GP matches.

It did not rain until after 5 lanes. It only rained lightly for the rest of the match. We printed the scorecards on waterproof paper and will use them when rain is forecasted.
