Remarks:
This was our first official match of 2023. We had 13 shooters from NJ, NY and CT. It was a a chilly day early in the morning turning into a warm sunny day hours later with slight tricky winds. The match ran smoothly without any cold lines. We had 7 squads typically two-man ones with one three-man squad of WFTF shooters. We used timers to get our shooter ready for Grand Prix rules.

We had a tie score for Hunter PCP between Alan and Tom. The shoot off was held on Lane 1. Tom scored 3 hits after Alan had only scored 2 hits out of 4. Nice shooting Tom.

We had a new field target shooter Brian W (Brian V’s friend). He did well on his first outdoor field target match ever. Hope he enjoyed shooting RFG course.

We also had Chas switching over to WFTF PCP from Open. Chas should now understand the difficulties related to shooting at a lower power and not using leg straps. In WFTF, we needed to pick and hold on one edge of the kill zone to knock the longer targets down.

Next match: April 23th Sunday
