I want to double down on thanking the folks at RFG for putting on a fantastic weekend. One could really feel the club behind the event. So well done!
Yes, another looong (and excellent) Leo Gonzales course. The dark targets out past 50 yards in the shade were particulary interesting to range!

A great Field Target weekend, great course, and great folks!

Chas

Great tournament put on by Leo, Cindy and all the people at the Rockville club. First time at a GP where breakfast was offered that I have been to, also snacks during the shoot. Attention to detail was excellent, looking forward to next year. Although there is one improvement Leo could make, rent a high lift and trim all the leaves at 50-55 yards so I can see. 😉Rick

My wife and kids have a full weekend for me unfortunately. I am working on improving the accuracy of my rifles, so I hope to compete and not be embarrassed soon!
It’s all fun shoot against course not the other competitors, you miss a target fugettaboutit move on to next don’t physch yourself out, if you improve only one or two shots each match it doesn’t take long to be up there in standings. Most important thing is follow thru shot since pellet takes longer to exit gun, but go and have fun, I hunted all my life and did a lot of 22 lr target shooting thought I’d shoot at least 40 at first match shot 21 ,look at pistol scores above nobody is embarrassed by what they shot, all for fun unless you plan on going pro.
