Remarks:
We had 20 people attend the match. We had shooters coming from CT, NJ and MA.
First time coming to RFG were a group of shooters coming from Nenameseck Sportsmen's Club (Palmer, MA).
I am also glad to see the regular shooters coming from NJ as well.

The day was sunny with light winds. We had ideal shooting conditions - not too hot nor humid.

We used the new air gun range practice area behind the clubhouse instead of the police range.
Going forward, we will be using this area for all our matches.
Shooters were able to preview the new 15 lane course beside it.
We will be using the new clubhouse course for the CT State FT match in October.

We had no cold lines. The match went smoothly without any delays.

Brian repeated his consistent and excellent shooting streak today shooting another 59 out of 60.
I did try to make the course a little bit more difficult, but it was not hard enough for Brian.
Matt B (5th place finisher at the 2022 World Field Target Championship in Italy) shot his 6-foot-pound energy FWB 300. Did very well even at the long-distance targets. Well done, Matt.

For this match, we gave out Pyramyd Air gift cards to 1st, 6th, 11th and 16th or last places based on raw
scores regardless of class.

The results above show the PA gift card winners. Bernie D who placed 16th donated his PA gift card to Vlad V (17th place).

I would like to thank Bill & Cindy Milewski for providing coolers full of Gatorade, bottled water, and snacks for the shooters as well as running the registration and updating leader board standings.

I would like to thank all the shooters for attending and help clean up afterwards.

Next match: October 23rd Sunday CT State Match

Good match report Leo and any time you get 20 shooters at a one day event we call it Very successful. Mr. Brackett shot excellent with that FWB 300s. Would love to see him come up to North Berwick, Me this fall / winter and shoot with us on a Saturday indoors 25 yards. There is about half a dozen or so that shoot those 300s and most of us are quite competitive. In fact a good friend of mine owns the Nation record high three aggregate with his model 300s. He is also 83 years old. That is the remarkable part of it. Hope I can make it down for your State shoot. Brian shows no mercy when he is on and you shot pretty well yourself. There is a lot of names I don't recognize and hope to meet down the road. Regards, Bill

That was a fun shoot, Leo. After the disaster of Italy, it's amazing to return home to a flawlessly-run shoot with absolutely no cold lines. An amazing feat - thank you so much for hosting.

'Big thanks also to the other shoot organizers and volunteers. It's a very professional and friendly group, and anyone in the region should definitely come on by!

Bill @dayjd, thanks for the compliments and invite - but remember I was shooting in the unlimited class and got to use a laser range finder. 'Turns out my scope sidewheel was cracked and spun unreliably. So I had a big advantage. I don't get the 300 out hardly at all, so it was fun to play with it again.
