Remarks:

This was our third match of 2020. COVID-19 guidelines are still in effect. People had worn face masks and kept 6 feet separation. Hand sanitizer was available for people to use.

Match day was sunny warm and windy. The wind switched directions and intensity many times.

The match high was shared by Chas and Paul. Both shooting an impressive 51 out of 60 in these windy conditions.

Initially, I had more reducers (½" & 1” KZs) planned for the match but the windy conditions made me think otherwise. The wind made the course difficult enough as the scores show.

We had first time attendees to the venue but were veteran shooters in field target - Paul Cray and Bartek Dziedzic. I hope they enjoyed the match and return for more matches in the future.

After the match, Brian, John, Paul, Matt B, Matt S, Ron, Mike and I cleaned up the course and were done before 1 pm. I thank Ron for lending his property for the match and the shooters who attended and helped clean up afterwards.

Next FT match: 2020 August 1 Saturday at Rockville Fish & Game (Vernon, CT)

I had a great, and frustrating time learning more about mirage wind reading. With the switching going I was able to learn more about reading the switch with the mirage and the delay between when it happens, and when the mirage shows it. That and the heavy uplift from thermal rise.

I'm looking forward to Rockville.

It was nice getting to meet you B. Great shooting for not having shot in so long. Now all you need is to work on those dreaded positionals. See you at the next one.

John don't give me that much credit I still shoot from time to time just didn't do any competitions in like six or more years, but thank you.

And those standing and kneeling position I never been good with them , YEA I drooped 11 out of 12 even the one I got was lucky one!
