2020 Huben K1 shooting Varmint Knockers 28.5 slug

This group was shot at 212 yards with the new 2020 Huben K1 using 

the Varmint Knockers 28.5 grain swage slug the first group was at 1020

fps as you can see the group is a little open with 1-2 shots going left and 

right .

Now with a small speed increase to 1040 fps look at how much tighter

the group is now remember this is at 212 yards 

Small speed adjustment can make a big difference.

How many shots in each group,

What are you filling to, whats the Reg set at, and how many shots are you getting at the tune.

I still hope to get a 2020 .25 when they are released, I love the idea of the K1.

filling gun to 4500 psi and get 2 mags at this tune

reg set at 17.5 mpa power wheel is 32 clicks from closed

I'm not sure about the spect on this newer version of K1. Perhaps you can ask Kelly. Just google “Krazy cool” and email him for spect. Don’t want to give you wrong info... one thing for sure this version is more consistent with fps and shoot good with pellets and slugs.

That is very impressive shooting with any gun and any caliber. I love my 2018 Huben but it doesn't shoot that good. At least I dont think it does as I've never shot slugs out of it and never shot it at 200 plus yards. I too wonder what or if they changed the barrel in the 2020 versions.

my understanding that Huben change their barrel to unchoked and make several improvement to internal receiver plus their new regulator much more consistent. My earlier version of K1 both .22 & .25 cal barrel was replaced by Kelly with TJ barrel (unchoked) and shoot awesome with slugs/pellets. I have video on YouTube of me shooting my .25 cal at 100 yards with TJ barrel. 


I will do video on YouTube shoot grouping soon both with slugs and pellets. This new version of K1 like JSB redesigned around 960-980 fps. and VK 28.5 slugs around 1020-1040 fps.

The barrel is more like .223 and the twist rate is 1:16.6 I hope this helps.
