Stumbled on this listing today and thought it might interest someone here who wants to have their tanks filled for them. They are good until 2029 and the ad says just hydro tested, so all set until 2027 / 2028 depending on the build month. I didn't ask if they will ship and the listing was updated about a month ago, so they might already be sold. They have been listed for 2 months, so the seller might be open to a lower priced offer. Located in Sacramento CA. Priced at $780 for both and my guess is they won't split them up but you never know.
I think the Scott SCBA tanks are more robust than the stuff you are getting from airgun suppliers and my understanding is they are designed for 30 years of service with a 15 year DOT limit on them. They sell new for over $2000. I find the Scott valves to be very easy to use and the gauge on mine gives a good indication of remaining air, but I use the gauge on my compressor when filling.
