2 pc offset rings for a Bug Buster on a PRod

Hey there. Subject says it. I've got a Bug Buster on my PRod and while it works ... Ideally I'd really like it a little further back to get the most comfy eye relief. I've got it as far rearward as possible but still need ( or would like ) to be able to get it back an additional 1/4" - 1/2". The PRod is an 11mm dovetail mount. ( edit ) If memory serves ... I think the Bug Buster is a 1" tube.

Suggestions and links pointing me to where I might score a set please?

BKL makes a set. I almost ordered a set back when I was trying to put a Bugbuster on my P-rod.

I never did try as I determined they would put the scope much higher than I would have wanted it. I have high cheek bones so this is a common problem for me and not something I would suspect would be a common complaint.

I can tell you the UTG one piece offset mount did not work. The turret housing was taller than the space from the bottom of the rings to the base so it would not work with the Bugbuster unless you filed down the mount a bit, which I never did. I know you said two-piece but I wanted to mention that anyways.

Back to the BKL rings, I recall somebody mentioning that they had trouble with the BKL rings on the slightly narrower Marauder rail. I did not have any trouble with mine.

Also, I think only one ring in the BKL set is offset, if that matters. I have a pair of Monstrum rings that are both offset but picatinny only as I recall. Adapters required.

Thanks guys. So . . . I went on a "mission" - not really wanting to spend any money on this thing I started rifling through drawers, boxes, tool bags, etc .... plus having just sold a gun I knew I had a spare scope sitting around not doing anything. I found a set of rings, and using that other scope - this is what it is now. Not quite as "svelte" as it was with the bug buster on it BUT - I'm now able to get much better eye relief on it when shouldering it. This scope / rings combo is a bit higher than the BB setup was which left me scratching my head for a minute or two but then after a little further digging . . . some foam wrap and heavy duty duct tape - raised cheek rest. :) I've got a Donny adapter coming in so that I can attach an extra moderator that I have too - see if I can make it a little quieter. We'll see.

This little thing is fun to shoot and it's LETHAL on pigeons / starlings inside of barns - inside of 30-35 yards. I've got it shooting 16g jsb hades @ around 10 ft/lbs. I'd like to get another magazine for it ( maybe two? ) as with the reduced power level I'm able to easily shoot 4 mags with enough air remaining in the tank for at least a 5th. Not sure I could get 6 full mags . . . but it might be worth a shot to test it out.

@rangur1 - yeah I've already accepted that as being a 'penalty' with this one. I figure, based on experience from last year, I'll shoot all 4 mags which will force me back to the car to reload, and I typically refill with air too. I'll just have to take the mod off for the refill - maybe that extra 30 seconds I'm not in the barn will bring a few of the ones that bolted back in? ( 😆 )

... obviously I'll need to test / play around with it with a moderator on and see if it changes my poi. The little thing is awesome though - pure walk about and off hand shooter. ( vs. using my heavier ft/lb guns outdoors picking them off of roofs and silos off of sticks or bipod )
