2 or 3 Scope Magnification Options

I was figuring out my pellet drop for my maverick today and I just realized, I only use 20x for bench shooting and 10x or 4x for hunting. I thought to myself; if I could get a scope that only had this two or three options for your magnifications, that would be perfect for what I mostly use 99% of the time. I'm a big fan of SFP scopes because I like having the option of either doubling or halving (not sure if that's word) your shooting distance by adjusting your magnification. If I have a 4x-12x scope, normally I only use 5x-10x, 6x-12x, or just 4x for really close shots. If I have a 6x-24x scope, I normally use 10x-20x, 12x-24x, or 6x-12x. Any other magnification I have no use for like 2x, 3x, 7x, 9x,...

I started looking for a scope that had a low mag that starts at 10x and a high mag that ended at 20x. The reason I wanted these two mags like this is because I could spin the mag one way quickly without having to look at what number to line up. After several hours of looking around and reading about different scope magnification ranges, I couldn't find anything. I couldn't find anything for a lower power setting like 5x-10x or 4x-8x. I did see the tactical scopes but they had magnifications like 1x, 2x, or even 3x, and I don't have any uses for these very low magnifications.

As I was thinking more about what I wanted in a scope, an idea came to me about having a ball-bearing like in-dent in the magnification ranges like how the maverick has for the power wheel. This way you don't have to look at your magnification numbers if you were wanting to use three magnification choices. Say if you have a 6x-24x scope but you would like to know where 10x and 20x is without looking at the numbers. Turn the knob magnification all the way to left to hit 6x, turn to the right until you feel the first ball-bearing which will be 10x, turn right to another ball-bearing when ch will be 12x, another turn to the next ball-bearing will be 20x, and all the way to the right will be 24x. All this without looking at the top of the scope.

If there's a scope like this, point me to a link.

I was considering a scope a while back that checked a lot of boxes for me but one of its flaws was that the reticle was true at 10x, which wasn't max magnification.

My thought was to have a throw lever 3D printed but have a secondary collar of some sort also printed that would have a mechanical stop at 10x. Or maybe even something that attached to the rear ring.

I didn't need a stop before minimum magnification but same idea would apply.

I ruled out that scope for a variety of reasons so never got beyond the brainstorming stage.

For SFP scopes this dial magnification blindly feature would be very desirable — especially for SFP scopes where the reticle is not calibrated at their maximum magnification (for some reason, most scopes I'd consider for airgunning are like that). This is actually one reason I keep avoiding SFP scopes.....

The only scope I know about after researching hundreds is the

Hawke Airmax 30 Touch 3-12x32 SFP

Calibrated and indented at 10x.

Please, let us know if you find any others!
