2 options for a Kral 25 jumbo

just picked up a 25 cal Kral jumbo and love it so far. I have 2 scopes not being used at the moment that could make that gun their home. First is a bushnell 4200 elite 4-16x40 with adjustable objective and standard cross hairs. The second Is a Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56 will mill dots. The glass is fantastic in both but the Trijicon is amazingly bright with a fiber optic/tritium light center dot. The bushnell kinda craps out in the evening or in dim lighting. Right now I have the bushnell mounted and it’s great but I’m wondering about holdover for the drop of pellets. The Trijicon is not really set up for close shots as I can’t adjust parallax and it’s a SFP so the mills are only mills at 10x. What do you guys think. Here are a few pictures

That is a tough one because in my opinion neither scope fits the bill for efficiently and accurately engaging targets at closer ranges. Thr trijicon won't let u even focus at close ranges so that's out and the regular duplex style cross hair would be OK on the Bushnell if u could trust the accuracy and repeatability of the turrets and dial ur shots. Dialing the Bushnell or using the trijicon on a low lower power are ur only real options and neither is ideal but from 10 yards to say 60 isn't that far to dial the elevation turret so u might luck out there even if it isn't dead on u can verify ur dope at different yardages u normally use and record the number of clicks they reguire or use chair gun or strelok or their equivalent and put in your parameters then adjust the bc slightly to make ur chair gun tables spot on. Myself personally love the math and calculations involved with the loopy trajectory of air rifles so figuring out holdovers and clicks on the turret is fun for me and very rewarding when u get it right snd can make repeatable accurate shots. You can get a very acceptable scope for ur needs under 200 even 150 if u really try so maybe that option is more appealing to you. Have fun and shoot straight!

The BUSHNELL Elite 4200 (JAPAN) can be clicked reliably and repeatedly with zero problems just like the SWFA SS can. Go and 3d print a large elevation turret and you're all set or use a plastic spray paint can cover cut a hole in the center flip upside down and heat glue gun. Garlic powder or salt cover works too. Easy peasy here's mine.
