1st NBR50 target...😢

My first attempt at this humbling endeavor this evening after work. Learned a few things and will definitely include this type of shooting in my repertoire. There was variable wind including a headwind at the target. I expect, once I get comfy with the game to pick up some points. Target set at 50 yards, bipod and rear bag. I shot what I thought were a few flyers. On bull #20, where I shot a ZERO, that was a flyer (I swear)😩.

The N50 cards shot in theĀ pellet classĀ are scored with a .350ā€ plug to equalize the different calibers allowed. To construct a makeshift plug for a .22 ....take a drill bit around .200ā€ and wrap tape around the shank until it reaches .350ā€. Insert into your shot hole and read the edge of the .350ā€ diameter against the rings. Just by eye, I see about 15 points down....not counting the no shot. So a 235 ish score...which is not bad at all for a first attempt.Ā

The Pro slug/rimfire class is the only class to use the smaller .224ā€ plug.

You can only receive a zero if you do not shoot a bull. Shots that land on any target box line are ignored. Because you are using the small version of the target...the boxes are obviously smaller. If there are 2 shots inside a box, the score is the lowest shot minus 1.

Cobble up a plug and re score the target and see what you get.

hi,

I see many bad qualified targets, for example targets 10, 11 and 12 are 10, not 9, if the shot touch the line of the next target, the highest is scored....

They are not the only ones, in the target 19, you only add 5, since you have two shots in the same target, the lesser minus one is added, that means that you should have made a shot in the target 20, there you lost many points.
