1st Gold medal of the Olympics!

"FastEddie"I don't understand why only 10m. That doesn't seem like much of a challenge for a decent air rifle.

Try it. It is the most difficult shooting discipline that I've tried. I'm good at pistol, rifle, shotgun and stuff, but this is impossible for me. Holding a 10+ pound rifle in the offhand position to try to hit a target as big as the period at the end of this sentence is tough. Then hit 10 after 10 after 10. Even CK couldn't do it. My kudos to this young lady.

Jimmy, I held one of the new Anschultz 9015 in Precise stock while down at Creedmoor's wherehouse. It was Sweet! Lighter than my Steyr and the stock had infinite adjustments. The rear peep sights alone cost $545.00 plus. To hold it up for the amount of shots they take off hand is an acquired skill. I recommend that FastEddie go to You Tube and search for the 10 meter world film where a 17 year old took the gold. Watching them made me humble in thinking it would be easy......

I would consider getting that rifle and convert it to 12 FPE for WFTF competition... It was that cool.
