1st day of squirrel season in PA, .22 cal Leshiy 2 performed great.

Got to go out behind the house for and hour this morning after the rain quit. Shot this red through the eyes with a Zan 22grn slug at 30 yards. I’m really impressed by how well these slugs work in the Leshiy. They’re about as loud as the report of the rifle when they hit.

Are Reds protected in PA? In NYS all you need is a small game hunting license to “take“ them as long as the license is valid. The ”small game” season doesn’t apply to Red squirrels in NYS.

I messed up and posted on this twice but a good hunting pic is ok. This Artemis M16A just got back from Veradium Air having the valve polished, a new hammer spring, new bottle and tuned by Brian down there’s. It shot well before but now it’s next level.
