Excellent review and explanation. I am a big fan of sfp, sadly it is getting increasingly difficult to get a sfp scope with some of the more up to date features of a ffp.

What would those features be?
The SFP scopes I've had haven't lacked anything my FFP scopes had.
. Some of the features I like are zero stop on the elevation turret, true 1 left 1 right markings on the windage turret. Generally there is a greater choice of reticles on ffp while none of these are of huge importance to me, it is slightly frustrating when I like the look of the spec of a scope, then to be disappointed that they is no sfp in the range. It is true that some of the top draw scopes do offer sfp scopes, but these are normally made for long range target shooting, magnification is generally too high for my needs as is the price tag.
