A co-worker gave me his benjamin 342 .22 cal. He bought it new in 72 as a teenager and has had it laying around ever since. It has lost its pump! I ordered a new seal kit and I am excited to get it shooting again..
Well worth fixing up! Have you tried just oiling the seal? Nice to strip and clean it all the way down no matter and with a full rebuild you should be good for 40 years or so. I picked one up years ago for $10.00 at a pawnshop , it needed a rebuild ( seems like TOO much pel gum oil over the years ) and I went ahead and refinished it, pretty decent wood on some of them. Got a lot of squirrels and countless tin cans & such with that rifle then found it a new home where it is still doing daily farm work.
