I was thinking of getting a .177cal (Air Arms S510 XS Carbine or Daystate Revere) for backyard plinking and sparrow control. I was wondering is anyone had used these pellets in either rifle and what the accuracy was like.

My s510 is 12 fpe .177 and shoots Hades in one raged hole at 35y i forgot how it shoots at 50 because i was testing many pellets.
Winner at 50y was Jsb exact heavy but Hades were also under an inch or better i can't remember exactly if i will find targets i will post here or i can shoot a group or two when i have time for you.
I think you can't go wrong with Hades.
Btw i love this rifle.

no .. all you need really for effective 177 hunting is a standard weight pellet sizzling along at about 1100 though ..

I am on the hunt for an Air Arms 500 HFT, hope it shoots them as well as the 510.
My Impact tuned at 20 fpe does not like them, at all. Shoots nearly everything else I have put through it very well - especially fx 13.4. H&N Barracuda Hunter Extreme does quite well, nice thwap on impact.
I have a barrel tuner on order, first test will be to see if it can tighten up the Hades (I have a few tins so worth a try).

FWIW my tuned 1720t didn't like them but is one hole out to about 30 yards with both Exact and Polymags.
