I know it is a subjective question but I am interested in feedback.
I really like the Mk4. I like it so much that after a bout of stupidity in which I traded it, I bought "my rifle" back as soon as it came up for sale. A++ accuracy, unbelievably air efficient, a fantastic trigger and handy length and weight. The only negative is I wish it were running 12-13fpe on power 2( closer to 16fpe). If it already had the $250 power adjuster board it wouldn't even be a question of letting it go.
The FX Crown might be a rare one as it is a very accurate .177. Although it isn't quite the air sipper as the MK4 is, it is very efficient and has a 480cc tank, also I like the looks, stock and handling. The biggest plus is I can turn it down as low as I want. The only negative is it isn't electronic.
I have never shot the two side by side as shortly after getting the Crown I sent it to FX due to, what appeared to be reg creep. The Crown should be back next week and I am a hunter/pester and not a collector so two high end .177 PCPs, as nice as they are, doesn't make financial sense.
To also consider:
1) I have a Daystate Air Wolf in .22 and unless I take it out and it falls apart in my hands, it might be my favorite airgun ever.
2) A few months back I purchased an Air Venturi compressor and after spending the $$$, filling a larger reservoir makes me not regret the cash outlay.
