Anyone here tried slugs in a classic Leshiy with a .177 350mm barrel and Huma reg? I haven't seen any talk on here of anyone trying slugs.

.177 slugs in a Classic Leshiy

Kind of off topic but my Classic Leshiy with 350mm .25 barrel loves FX slugs and JSB Hades.

I built a .177 slug barrel for my Leshiy last year. With a decent slug tune, the gun was just too angry and jumpy. This made it very hard to be consistent with. A Leshiy is capable of sending lead fast so a lot of guys can’t resist and now their Leshiy feels like you’re shooting a springer. The Leshiy is a good pellet gun. Not the best platform for sending slugs.

This. With a higher powered tune the Leshiy just isn't that fun to shoot. Dial the power down and it becomes a really sweet shooter.

I have tried .177 slugs in a Leshiy too. It's showing potential but like others have already a powerful tune combined with it's low weight makes it a less than ideal gun to shoot.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have to agree with the Leshiy getting to jumpy when you turn the power up. Especially when shooting off a bench with a bipod. I think I'll just stick with the way it is. I have 4 other PCP's and the Leshiy is the one I grab when I just want to go out and have fun.

I have my Leshiy set up with the 250mm barrel shooting the 13 grain JSBs at 942 fps. Not slugs, but works really well.
