Testing out the expansion of these .177 jsb knockout slugs in 10.3 g. They seem to expand pretty good. Got a couple doves with them can’t wait to see how they do on ground squirrels an rabbits.

This was from a 35 yard shot using a Precision Ballistic 10.4 grain Mako slug at 784 FPS generating 16 FPE shot from my 177 Uragan Compact last Saturday. The exit hole was about the size of a dime at a minimum, basically it looks like the brain cavity was emptied.

10.3 Knockouts running 975 at 10 yards into a water jug. The 2 on the left had the hollow pilot expanded with the hand drill in the picture. The one on the right was straight from the tin.

I've used them in my ruger and they are BEASTS but a bit hard to load
2289 will even pump them out to about 15 yards accurately*was surprised it even went that far accurately

A 40 grain 22 slug is pretty heavy unless you have ALOT of air to push them. Most of my guns shoot slugs slower than a pellet of even heavier weight.

I havent really tried slugs in my crosman guns, they seem to like a larger head size like 5.53mmYea I went all out with the first tin
My 2240 bottle gun does well with the FTT 14.66 in 5.55mm

My Prod shoots my cast 30gr BBT slugs around 450 fps and I don't have any trouble hitting my 50 yard spinners with it. I'll have to try some NSA slugs in my 1322 and see how they do.

Pretty good expansion for a .177, might be better than the polymag. Nice weight for the caliber also.
