.177 Revere with 20,5grain Nielsen slugs

I guess there is a limit.

I could barely chamber the Nielsen 20,5 slug. It took 4 huffs & Puffs to get puff it out. Anyone tried this?. The 20grain ZAN works great. I tried the H&N 20grain also. That had a slighter resistance but was able to shoot them out. Reg pressure is 130bar(factory setting). Maybe the NSA and H&N slugs are made for FX barrels only?. Range results later next week.

I noticed my .177 has a pretty tight barrel and that 4.51mm stuff seems to fit better. Those 20 grainers are going to be moving pretty slow. I have smaller slugs, the JSB knockouts, that I think would do better just a little bit looser fit.

The ZAN slug is a slight tapered. The NSA is cylindrical.

Maybe if I had a HP gun with regpressure set at +170bar it would push them out?.

Oh well glad I didn´t do what I always do buy a truckload before knowing if a certain pellet will actually work. Mio stupido..:LOL
