.177 populariy

as air guns keep getting bigger and bigger... the 177 just keeps doing it for me.... my raw bm500 is the most accurate irrifle ive ever seen used at 50 yards and under..

I do have an air arms limited edition in .22 that seems to be more accurate at 100 yards... but for the most part most air guns don't shoot 100 yards much..

that's where a 177 comes in.

I’m into .177. .22 and 30fpe are just about the max for my home range. Most of what I have are .177. Here are a couple .177 PCPs. One is tuned to 12 fpe and the other 15 fpe. I don’t need any more than that for what I do.

30 foot pound ...177 with heavy pellets can do things well at long range too and it will give the bigger cals a run for the money accuracy wise. if you can get slugs and pile drivers and jsb 16 grain running at 900 fps.. 150 yards is doable for target shooting.

Shooting slugs out of my Daystate Red Wolf .177 HP and is getting around 36 FPE and the accuracy is good at 100 meters (110 yards) 👍

3 shots and they are 16 mm apart - just over 1/2 an inch 😃
